The Tsugawa Group conducts research on, develops, manufactures and distributes a broad array of products for communications, finance, computers, image processing and amusement machines. In a variety of business areas, we implement activities that function in harmony with people and the environment.
Environmental Policy of the Tsugawa Group
The Tsugawa Group conducts research on, develops, manufactures and distributes a broad array of products for communications, finance, computers and image processing as well as amusement machines. In order to implement business activities that function in harmony with people and the environment, we have set the following:
1.To obey the laws, regulations, agreements, local rules that our Group is required to abide by and other requirements that our Group has agreed to fulfill. 2. To strive to save resources and energy and to reduce waste materials. 3. To restrict the use of harmful substances and the emission of harmful substances into the atmosphere, rivers and the sea, and into the ground. 4. To provide care for saving resources and energy, recycling and reduction of harmful substances, starting from the product development and design stage. 5. To strengthen the mutual partnerships for environmental purposes with our clients and consignees including our Group companies. 6. To establish an Environmental Management System (EMS) based on our environmental objectives and goals, and to continue to improve it. 7. To ensure that all Group members are familiar with our environmental policies and related information to enhance their awareness, and disclose such policies and information to the public when necessary.

Environmental Statement by the Ninohe Office of the Kazuno Factory, Tsugawa Corp.
Fundamental Principles The Ninohe Office of the Kazuno Factory of Tsugawa Corp. recognizes that conservation of the local environment is at the utmost importance for all people. The Factory and the Office will be united to strive to reduce the environmental load.
Policies
To reduce the impact of our production activities related to the manufacture of peripherals for computers, amusement machines and precision communications equipment on the environment, the Ninohe Office of the Kazuno Factory will promote environmental management activities for harmonization with the global environment.
1. We will be constantly aware of the impact of our production activities on the environment. We will push forward the prevention of pollution while striving to continuously improve our environmental management activities. 2. We will follow the environmental laws and requirements related to our production activities. 3. Of all the influences of our production activities on the environment, we will focus on the following as our key environmental management themes. 1) Reduction of electricity consumption 2) Reduction of industrial waste 3) Reduction of paper consumption for clerical purposes 4) Reduction of heating costs, and kerosene and gas consumption 5) Reduction of gasoline and light oil consumption 6) Promotion of green procurement 7) Educational activities to promote a clean environment around the factory 4. In order to encourage each employee to be actively involved in the reduction of the environmental load, we will ensure that all company members are familiar with this environmental statement. We will also announce it to the public. 5. We will actively participate in the activities to improve the environment of the local communities based on the "Statement for Transforming Iwate into the Environmental Capital of Japan by the Residents of the Prefecture."

Environmental Policies of the Iwate Chuo Transportation
Basic Environmental Statement
At Iwate Chuo Transportation Co., Ltd., we will strive to reduce the environmental burden and to make effective use of the resources in our transportation activities that function in a harmonious manner among people, trucks and conservation of the local environment, based on our safety-first work ethic.
Basic Action Policies
1. To rigorously follow the law and other rules related to conservation. 2. To be united in tackling our conservation activities. 3. To prepare a system for promoting conservation measures, draw up action plans and actively take charge. 4. To minimize the emissions from the vehicles. 5. To take care to save and recycle the resources. 6. To strive to distribute knowledge about the environment and to educate the employees.
